What are my cake and cookie design options?

The possibilities are endless -- if you can imagine it, we can create it! All of our desserts are custom
made to your specifications and can be designed to complement your event theme, to match your
invitations, etc.  We pride ourselves in being able to make your confectionery dreams come true, so
please feel free to choose from one of the many designs shown on our website or you may request
something new.

No matter what you choose, you can be assured that we use only the finest ingredients: imported gourmet
chocolates, free-range eggs, fresh local butter, and organic sugars.

Our signature Italian Meringue Buttercream icing is made from 100% butter, fresh eggs, organic sugars,
and a variety of flavorings -- it is light, not overly sweet, and complements our cakes perfectly.  Fondant is
a marshmallow type of rolled sugar covering that provides a beautiful smooth finish to give a cake an
elegant, upscale look.

How much does a custom dessert cost?

Just like when you dine out at a quality restaurant, custom desserts are priced on an individual "per
serving" basis.  Prices for all flavors of Buttercream iced cakes begin at $3.00 per serving.  Carrot cakes
and gluten-free cakes are a little more expensive at $4.00 per serving due to the complexity of the recipes
and the cost of ingredients.  Fondant covered cakes start at $4.00 per serving, which reflects both the
expense of the fondant itself and the time and skill it requires to make it look perfect.  Sculptured 3-D
cakes begin at $5.00 per serving.

Of course, a very detailed, complicated design or pattern will take more time and increase the cost of
your cake -- the final price depends on the complexity of the design and the extent of the work involved.  
Moreover, the addition of handmade bows, monograms, and sugar flowers will be priced accordingly.

We do not charge a delivery or "set up" fee, and we offer complimentary cake tastings for all cake
orders over $150.

Cookies are also priced on a per piece basis, each of which are individually wrapped in a cello bag and
tied ribbon of your choice -- -pricing tends to range from $3 to $8 per cookie with most around $4.50.  A
customized tag with a short message (e.g., name and date information) may be added at no additional
charge.  A one dozen order minimum applies to cookie orders.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by cash, check, money orders, and credit card payments are processed through
Google Checkout and Paypal.  We request a minimum 25% deposit upon order confirmation to secure
your event date, and the balance must be paid in full three weeks prior to the event.
